SPECIAL EDITION ; Lakenenland

We posted on Facebook that we returned to this quirky roadside art exhibit.   Six years ago, we drove by it and said to ourselves "I'll bet there is a geocache there!", and sure enough, there was (actually, two).  Little did we know what we would see, so we went back and breezed through because of time restrictions.  That is what happens if you aren't retired yet.
Since we found ourselves in the area, we HAD to go back to spend a little more time there.  He has added quite a few new sculptures, some of which reflect his political leaning.   He has done some amazing things, and we were very glad we returned.   None of the exhibits has a name that we know of, so I'll just post the pictures, with a few comments on details.

This is what first caught our eye
This explains it.

This one is hard to see.  It is a 9-11 tribute, with the Pentagon and Flight 93 on the base

The pictures don't really do the sculptures justice, but they are enjoyable to see.  We hope you enjoy them!

If you want to see more, there are two Facebook groups. and a website (but it is old, and doesn't work for me on my laptop.)
